After one fine success with the OnePlus 3T in the last year, the OnePlus company is all set to expand its collection and introduce a new flagship into the Android market. Okay, before we actually start, I would like to remind you that last time when we talked about the OnePlus 4 expected features and specifications, it seems that the company might just undergo with the same features of the device, however the device just might be named the OnePlus 5 rather than the expected OnePlus 4.
So, as of such, I am going to introduce you with some of the rumors which we have come across regarding the device and it seems that most of them are expected to come true. However, if there is a variation, take note that I already have told you that these are just rumors and no confirmation has been made by the company yet regarding the features of OnePlus 5.
OnePlus 5: Name of the device
Do you remeber the time when OnePlus 3 was launched in June 2016 and just after a few months, the company launched a new variant called the OnePlus 3T back in November 2016. Well, for a common man, he would expect the next flagship to be named OnePlus 4, but no, the company has confirmed that it is going to name the next device as OnePlus 5. Reasons, all based on rumors which the company has denied so far.
OnePlus 5: Specifications
Ahem, ready? Yeah, I feel like you are already prepared for this section. As the OnePlus 5 is going to be the next flagship, it is expected to launch with the awesomest features which you have always been craving for. Talking about the screen, the OnePlus 5 would come with a 5.5 inch AMOLED display with either a Full HD or QHd resolution and most of the reports suggest that it would be curved on the sides.
Talking about the chipset, the OnePlus 5 is expected to come with a Snapdragon 835 chipset which the newest devices like the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the Xiaomi Mi 6 would be having. The storage of this device is expected to be pretty awesome with about 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. However, reports suggest that the OnePlus 5 may have another variant which would have 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage.
The battery is expected to be around 3600 mAh which supports dash charging (of course).
OnePlus 5: Camera
Now, there is a high chance that the OnePlus 5 may have a dual camera for better picture quality as most of the reports suggest this. There isn’t any worthwhile info regarding the camera of OnePlus 5 yet, but I am pretty sure that we will get it know it soon enough.
OnePlus 5: Software
It’s no surprise that OnePlus 5 would come with the newly launched Android Nougat and there are even confirmed updates for the device. Talking about the OS, there has always been OxygenOS for the OnePlus devices, so no doubts on that.
OnePlus 5: Release Date
OnePlus has always been fast in introducing the devices and launching them soon. We hope we get to see the same with the OnePlus 5 as after all the calculations and reports, it is expected that the OnePlus 5 may be launched sometime in summer this year. Even though we have no confirmation, still it quite obvious that the company will be releasing the next flagship this very year.
OnePlus 5: Price
Now coming to the final part, the oneplus 5 price, is it? Well, the OnePlus company has already been increasing prices with the devices which it has released recently, like the OnePlus 3 and the 3T and same is expected for the OnePlus 5, as the reports suggest that the OnePlus 5 might be priced somewhere around 650$. That may be high, but that is quite perfect with a device of such features.
