How to Add Custom Text in the Status Bar of Sony Devices:
- Decompile SystemUI using APKTool
- Navigate to systemui/res/layout//status_bar.xml
- Add the following code:
<TextView android:textSize=”14.0dip” android:textColor=”#ffffffff” android:gravity=”left|center” android:layout_width=”wrap_content” android:layout_height=”fill_parent” android:text=”@string/hello” android:singleLine=”true” />
android:textSize=”14.0dip” – Change 14.0 to any size that you want.
android:textColor=”#ffffffff” – Change #ffffffff to any color which you want.
4. Now, go to res/values/string
5. Add the following line:
You have to change “Logan” to anything you want to.
6. Recompile SystemUI and replace in System.
