Google has always been one of the best and most reliable service for the Android and other devices. Starting from the calender to our keyboards in Android, Google has taken over everything and syncing evening that’s possible. And now, Gmail 7.1.1 Hints at Integrating Tasks and Reminder Snoozing.
Everybody among us uses Gmail from Google for sending and receiving mails and you have to admit, Gmail is the best mailing service from Google for any device that we use, even our PC’s.
And now, Gmail is getting a new version. The new version of Gmail is rolling out soon which integrates tasks and reminders for Exchange accounts. The update of Gmail 7.1.1 will be available soon in the Play Store, but some users have already received the update. Indeed, there are indeed some interesting changes in this new update.
One of the most notable feature of this update is said to be the Tasks Integration. And this means that Gmail will now allow us to create and edit Tasks which can be set based on priority and can be given due dates as desired.
Furthermore, users will be able to set reminders to complete these tasks. At any time, a you can go in and mark the task as done or not done. If a user receives a reminder to complete a task but has not yet been able to complete it, the reminder notification will allow you to snooze the reminder as well. We’re sure that everybody will love this feature as many requests had piled up for Gmail to integrate such features.
Also, the notification button will expand to a dialog allowing you to snooze the reminder until 10 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, or 1 day later, whatever you wish for. If you are done with the task, you can mark the task as “done” straight from the reminder notification. And this access allows you to integrate with your Gmail account frequently.
The Bottom Line
These features should already start showing up for those of you with Exchange accounts on the Gmail application. We hope that Google incorporates these features in a future version of Gmail.
