This time we have our first hands on the brand new and totally newly-introduced Lenovo Z2 Plus. The device was introduced in the very beginning of this month and possibly released today.
Lenovo Z2 Plus is the company’s latest attempt to tap into a price segment where it hasn’t made a lot of progress.
The Lenovo Z2 Plus is exclusively available via Amazon India and is priced at Rs. 17,999 for the 3GB RAM/32GB storage variant and Rs. 19,999 for the 4GB RAM/64GB storage variant.
Lenovo has phones in all price ranges with brilliant battery backup, a quality touch and moreover, a unique UI.
Talking about the Operating System in this device, it runs on Android Marshmallow v6.0.1 which includes a default Google Now Launcher and a smart look of the Lenovo’s default UI.
The device is a dual sim (4G+3G) smartphone which supports Nano-sims. It sports a 5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display made by Sharp, with a pixel density of 441ppi. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 with either 3GB or 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM.
The device has two built-in storage variants- 32GB and 64GB variants but the thing with this device is that it doesn’t allow you to expand the storage, which means that you’ve to be satisfied with what you get.
The decive sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF and LED flash. It bears an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
Now talking about the battery, the device comes with a powerful 3500 mAh battery which features an auto cut off feature which ensures that the battery doesn’t overcharge. This feature is going to be a revolutionary one for it makes the battery sustain for a very long time.
Lenovo Z2 Plus also comes with a “U touch 2.0” fingerprint scanner on the front. It can be used to perform different gestures such as a single touch for back, a long touch to bring up notifications, a double press for the app switcher, left or right swipes to get to recently used apps, a single press for home, and a long press for Google Now.

We even had many questions by many users who first got their hands on the device and they asked if the phone would be getting an Android upgrade to Android Nougat 7.0. To this, the company hasn’t officially confirmed anything yet but looking at the RAM and the other support from Google, it looks that the device could be getting an upgrade to Android Nougat.
So far, the features seem to be great, exciting and ideal for the person who loves more RAM and many features inside a single phone.
This decive could be much better than the other variants of Lenovo that we have had earlier. We hope that the reviews too come fine and the device does it all what it says it can do.
Go ahead, ask your questions and queries and tell the reviews of you liked this device.
